Mayor Tomas P. Regalado to Host First Mayor’s Career Fair

(Miami, FL)- Miami Mayor Tomas P. Regalado invites City of Miami residents to the First Mayor’s Career Fair on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive. The Career Fair is free.
Among the organizations that will be on hand to assist residents include: Census 2010, Mercy Hospital, Per Scholas, South Florida Workforce, Hospitality Institute, Office of the State Attorney, Suited for Success, ACCESSMiamiJobs.com, and City of Miami Office of Communications.
Individuals attending the Career Fair will receive valuable resources on how to find jobs, how to dress properly for an interview and how to prepare résumés, in addition to getting a professional photo taken to include along with their resume. Those taking their photo are encouraged to dress in business attire and have a valid email account to receive and electronic copy of their image.
“Keep Miami Working” is the Mayor’s initiative to provide resources that assist City residents in preparing to secure a job.
